Elder James has been a member of New Beginnings since December 2007. He is a native Charlottean, a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the UNC School of Law. He is a licensed minister. He also serves as an Armor Bearer and a Co-leader of the Pastoral Care Ministry along with his wife, Kymberlye. They are the proud parents of three daughters, Keisha, Brooke and Jessica.

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SENIOR PASTOR: MINISTER TAMI WARD
Minister Tami serves as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor at New Beginnings Community Church. She also assists Pastor Henderson in his role as the Director of Church Planting with Converge Mid-Atlantic.
Minister Tami and her family have been members of New Beginnings since May 2007 and are committed servants in the Kingdom of God. She is a Licensed Minister and currently serves on the Altar Counsel Ministry, Women’s Council, and IMPACTT Women’s Ministry, and is a Home Life Group facilitator. She is a native of Long Island, New York and she and her husband Andre have three children, Rashaun, Shaquirah, and Khayri.

CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR/HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR: MINISTER WILLETTE ROBINSON
Minister Willette is a Certified Church Business Administrator with over 25 years of experience with providing services
to churches. She has served on church staffs across the
city of Charlotte. Minister Robinson has studied at Shaw University in Raleigh, NC; Candler School of Theology @ Emory University in Decatur, Georgia; Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC; and Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. She is a member the National Association of Church Business Administrators.
Minister Robinson has been a member of New Beginnings since August 2007. She actively serves as the Ministry Leader for the Young At Heart Ministry aka as YAH (for members 55 years old and older); and she is a Small Group Facilitator.
Minister Robinson is a lover of people, plays a little golf, and enjoys reading and singing. She has two daughters and three grandsons.

DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND ASSIMILATION: MINISTER CHRISTINA LEE
Minister Christina serves as the Director of Christian Education and Assimilation at New Beginnings Community Church. She is studying in the field of Christian Apologetics and Religious Studies at Southern Evangelical Seminary, in Matthews, North Carolina. She has been blessed with the gift of teaching, preaching, and soul winning, through evangelism ministry. She is the founder of Nehemiah Training and Consulting, which is a company that specializes in leadership and development in the corporate arena and evangelism and leadership training in the Kingdom.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE FIRST LADY: SISTER CARLOTTA PETERS
Sister Carlotta is a native of Akron, OH. and has been a member of New Beginnings Community Church since February of 2008. Before accepting her position as First Lady’s Personal Assistant, she volunteered in the church office and also worked as the Office Manager. Her areas of service include Ministry Assistant of the Special Events Ministry and is a member of the Missions Ministry.

OFFICE MANAGER: SISTER JEANNIE LONG
Sister Jeannie is a native of Christiansburg, VA. She moved to Charlotte in 2004 and has been a member of New Beginnings since September 2008. She was an office volunteer at the church prior to accepting the position of Office Manager. She currently serves in the Mass Choir and the Drama Ministry. Prior to serving at NBCC she served as Leader of the Singles Ministry, Praise Team Member, and Young Adult Choir Member as well as partnered as a Young Adult Sunday School Teacher at Greater Mt Sinai Baptist Church, Charlotte. She also served as Church Clerk, Announcement Clerk, Sunday School Teacher, Praise Team member and Young Adult Choir President and member at her home church in Virginia. Jeannie has over 7 years experience in support and customer service working in Virginia universities and corporate environments.
She is a people person who prays that in some way each day God uses her to touch someone’s life and draw them closer to Him.

CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR: SISTER MONICA BURRELL

Sister Monica is a native New Yorker, who joined NBCC in March of 2010. She has a passion for helping others as evidenced by her service on the Care and Hospitality Ministries. She has served in multiple capacities within the Human Services field for 20+ years. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, NY and her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is pursuing Licensure in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association.
Sis. Monica’s theoretical approach to counseling is a harmonious integration of Christianity and Psychology. Theology provides the foundation, with Psychology as a tangible resource. She believes the Bible is the blueprint for counseling. Her goal in the counseling process is to bring glory to God while being used by Him for the good of the client. She has adopted the Motivational Interviewing Approach as a non-threatening approach to client change through exploration and resolution of ambivalence.
Sis. Monica takes comfort in knowing that God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Her scripture of counsel is Proverbs 3: 5-6 which states, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. DIRECTOR OF FAMILY LIFE CENTER: MINISTER RON DIVERS
Minister Ron has been a member of New Beginnings since October 2005. He serves as the Director of the Family Life Center. He also serves on the Music Ministry, Men’s Ministry, One Flesh Marriage Ministry, Anointed Mimes of Praise and Sports Ministry. Minister Divers is a native of Washington DC, and he and his wife Paula, have four children.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC: SISTER SUSANNA STEVENS
Sister Susie oversees the Music Ministry. It is comprised of Praise & Worship Teams and several choirs, each with its own leader and a core group of members. The Ministry also includes a Band of committed musicians dedicated to using their gifts to bless the Lord and the church.
With a background of over 20 years in music ministry, she tries to find ministry in everything she does. Her motto is “Serving God by serving others”.
Sister Susie has served as the Minister of Music for New Beginnings since October 2000. This role has afforded her the opportunity to hone her skills in a privileged, yet challenging environment. And that environment has served as a major foundation for her ultimate musical destiny.

FACILITIES DIRECTOR/MINISTRY LEADER: MINISTER KEVIN MOORE
Minister Kevin has been a member of New Beginnings since October of 2006. His areas of service include: Ministry Leader of the Facilities Ministry, Team Leader with the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, and member of the Altar Counselor Ministry and Armor Bearer. He also assists with the Communion Ministry.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING: SISTER DIMMIS CUMMINGS
Sister Dimmis serves as the Director of Marketing at New Beginnings Community Church. Dimmis is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington and has been a member of New Beginnings since July 2009. Dimmis also serves as the co-leader of the Young Adult Ministry (F.L.Y.) alongside her husband, Jason. She enjoys serving in the house of God, loves family time, singing, and traveling with her husband.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY LEADER: LE'KISHA STEVENSON
Sister Le'Kisha has been a member since May of 2001. She serves as the Ministry Leader of the Children's Ministry which includes the Children's Church for ages 4 – 5th grade and the Nursery for ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. She previously served for 4 years as the Vacation Bible School Director, is a Co-Coordinator of the Marriage Ministry which includes team teaching with her husband a Sunday School class designed for married & engaged couples, is a member of the Capital Expansion Committee and the Pastoral Care ministry.
Le’Kisha has been a licensed Realtor for over 12 years and previously worked in the banking industry for 16 years. Her passion is serving others in and out of the church which is the foundation of her company’s motto, “Because Our Service Measures Up”

PRISON LIASION: MINISTER PAULUS FORD
Minister Paulus has been a member since June 2005 and is a Licensed Minister at New Beginnings. Minister Ford serves as the Ministry Leader of the Prison Ministry—which consists of the Amachi, Angel Tree and Mecklenburg Country Jail Outreaches. The Prison Ministry is one component of the “Beyond the Walls” Outreach Ministry. Also Minister Ford serves as a Sunday School Teacher for the “Fresh Start” Class; he serves on the Leadership Teams of the New Brothers Committed to Christ (NBC2C) Men's Ministry and Standing Together and Never Doubt (STAND) Prayer for Married Men. He is also a member of the Ushers and Greeters Ministry.
